MAX1757 is a lithium battery charger produced by MAXIM Company, which is programmable and has the characteristic of simply external circuits. In addition, the setting of various charge parameters can also he achieved. The hardware circuit of three lithium batteries charger is designed based on the chip of MAX1757. This paper gives the setting method of charging parameters and analyzes the four status of charging. The equalization circuit is also designed, and experimental resuits are given.
